Educational Background:

I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University and my Doctorate Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia.  I have spent 10 years as a school psychologist in the Milwaukee Public Schools and have been in private practice since 1973.

Personal Background:

I am happily married, proud parent of three adult children, and grandfather of seven.  I have taken all of my life and parenting experiences and recently authored a book.  The title is: If Parenting was Easy it wouldn’t Begin with Labor.  It is available at our office or online at www.outskirtspress.com. 

Areas of Specialty:

I am easy to talk to and in therapy I offer my clients insight into their troubles using a straightforward and common sense approach.  I enjoy working with diverse clients ranging in age.  Some of my specialties are:

• Couples with relationship issues
• Parents who are having difficulty with their children
• Families in crisis
• Children having academic and/or behavioral problems
• Individuals who suffer from:
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress 
  • Anger issues
  • Poor self-esteem

• Psychological testing

I have also had extensive experience within the legal system and have been an expert witness in custody, competency, personal injury, social security, and criminal cases.
