Nan Counsell-Wilke is a Master degreed Social Worker and a Certified independent clinical social worker in Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Ms. Counsell-Wilke has been providing psychotherapy services in the Milwaukeee area since 1981. She has worked in residential treatment settings with children, adolescents, and ther families. She has also worked in medical settings with acute care concerns, including coping and adjustment to serious illnesses or accidents, domestic violence and child neglect or abuse issues. Through these experiences, she has gaind training and expertise in working with adults, couples, adolescents, children, and families with numerous problems, including:

Ms. Counsell-Wilke uses and eclectic approach incorporating metaphor and cognitive models as well as being certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
