Psychologists

Psychologists have a doctoral degree that specializes in human behavior. Psychologists do not prescribe medication but are trained psychotherapists. Psychologists are also experts in psychological assessments including assessments of personality, intelligence, and psychpathology. Your psychologist can assist you in finding a psychiatrist who will evaluate you for medication.
