Addictions

 

The treatment of addictions of any kind, involves evaluating, diagnosing and treating the various forms of use/abuse problems. This includes evaluating such critical problems as 1) the use of illicit chemicals (e.g. street drugs, over-the-counter chemicals, etc), 2) unmanaged use of alcohol, and/or prescription medications, 3) problematic gambling, 4) inappropriate eating patterns, 5) other serious concerns, that have affected their lives and the lives of their families, friends, their jobs, their decision making, their physical well being, or other aspects of their lives. The treatment may be individual, group, or family treatment. Education addressing the physical, chemical, and emotional effects of the addiction whether chemical, or other harmful use on the human system, is an essential part of the process. Get help as soon as possible, these problems worsen quickly.
