Anger management is a focused systematic treatment based on the emotions, behaviors, and consequences of expressed anger. In other words, getting anger under control involves 1) determining what triggers the anger, 2) what continues to fuel the anger, and/or 3) what consequences the anger has on you, your friends, your job, your loved ones, etc. Treatment helps each person identify, understand, and clarify specific ways to cope with the triggering stressors that contribute to anger, in constructive and effective ways.
